I live in Ruckersville VA and my friend was texting me last night that she has a place where she lives (in central KY) where you can drop off your birds to be slaughtered and butchered, and pick them up later that day. Does anyone know of a place near me that offers a similar service? The places I found online seem to only do hoof stock. My husband is a little squeamish about butchering at home but I think he would be OK eating our home-raised meat birds (or cull hens or excess roosters) if someone else did the dirty work...I could do the butchering part, it would just take me a while to get used to the killing part...so alternatively if someone wants to go halvsies with me, you kill, I clean
