Wasn’t sure where to put this.
I’m looking for just random information/facts on chickens. Like how breeding work genetically, or why chickens breed changes their behavior.
Everything and anything I love knowing about chickens and owning them and I would like to know everything I can about them. All information will be appreciated!

Statistically the hatch rate of pullets/roos is 50/50

Breed doesn’t necessarily mean a difference in personality. Each chicken has its own personality and so does each flock.

Chicken bodies are not designed to process dairy.

It’s 81 degrees on April 12th in Minnesota and there is still snow on the ground welcome to wacky weather Wednesday🥵❄️🤔😂

Something I learned from trying to figure out what's up with one of my chicks - brachydactyly, or a partial or missing toe, is a mutation most commonly found in feather footed breeds.
