Any Roman Tufted experts?

Another Craigslist acquisition -- advertised as Embden. Can anyone tell if he is a cross or purebred Roman Tufted? What are the genetics on the tuft? He's been doing his duty but no Tufted goslings .

Hi, according to hatchery websites, Roman geese are very small. Lighter than Chinese even.. I think like 10 - 11lbs. What size is your bird? If he is much heavier than that, you can be assured he is a cross. Also, Embden ganders easily weigh in at 20lbs or more, so there's that, too.
