Good job, @Stoney Meadow Maple! I've seen lots of fledglings while on lockdown and it's hard to hold my nerve when I don't see a parent. But it seems to work out.

Thanks! We have a niche population of finches here in the winter, if normally leave it be, but it was in a fairly vulnerable place for one and also I thought it was dead, turns out just froze stiff.
