Black sex links that I got only lay 4 or 5 eggs in a great week. ISA Browns lay 6-7 eggs a week, every week. The ISA egg is also 10-20% larger.
But there is more to the story, imho. The Black Sex Link eat far more food. They are wonderful birds, but with feed costs hitting new highs, I will not be getting any more, but will place an order soon for another 25 Isa Browns. If getting eggs is your goal, there isn't much better.
The BSL will be heading to freezer, which is fine, because unlike the ISA, they actually have nice, plump bodies.
