Any Suggestions - adding chickens to my Guinea's

Sooo, I finally got 3 cute little Production Red chicks to add to my 2 year old French Guinea Fowl flock of 5. Obviously it will be awhile before I put them together in the coop. Does anyone have any experience adding chickens to a Guinea Fowl flock? I figure I should wait until these little guys are looking full grown before I let the Guinea Fowl and them loose together. I did think it would probably be a good idea to put the new birds in a large wire dog crate in with the Guinea's when they are old enough to be in the unheated coop - let the Guinea Fowl get used to them. Anyone have any advice?

No advice, your method sounds good. My girlfriend has guineas and chickens and they do fine together. But I think she has more chickens than guineas. So good luck. Usually side by side cage methods for introductions seem to work out.

Guineas are very aggressive to new birds and can kill them. Yes, wait until they are fully grown before you try to put them in the same coop. When the chicks no longer need heat, they should be housed where the guineas can see and be with them but not get to them.
