This may sound crazy but given the fact that in real life the mother hen will get off the nest from time to time to drink and eat I think I'll be OK. I can see where the need for fresh air would be real important in an incubator environment. I want more than just some vent holes I actually want to purge the incubator and replenish it with fresh air about every 4 to 6 hours I need to run a small fan for about 30 seconds. I need the freedom to adjust these variables of on time and off time. I want to be able to fine tune these times in accordance with the recovery time it takes for the heater to bring the incubator to optimum temp again. Any suggestions or links for a controller and fan for this application...Thanks

You could try using a computer fan. I had a "still air" incubator, it was working fine but I heard that the ones with the fans worked better? Instead of buying a whole new incubator I just bought a computer fan from my computer guy who fixes my computers and what not, anyways I just put that in there and it works great!

Good luck!
