no not to get burned but to soothe burns. i know about alo and all but eh i wanna try and actually heal it not soothe it, not sure if its possible but if so tell me! im a very fair skinned person and am not yet burned but tomorrow i am going on a school trip to a water park and am 100% certain i will get burned. i could wear a gallon of sun block and still burn so its not possible that i wont get burned! so any tips?

Wear a long T-shirt over your costume and water resistant sun block. Have a great day, but be careful...stay out of the noonday sun....................... (or you will get wrinkles!)

Get BullFrog sunscreen, it works really well when ive used at water parks. Use to go to White Water in Atlanta almost once a month when I was a teenager and I always used BullFrog and I never got burnt. You could aways just wear a tshirt.

After you burn apply Apple cider vinegar liberally and let soak in for about 10 minutes. Then take a cool shower. It helps take away the sting.

Ok. I know you said you "know about alo(sic)" but apparently you don't.

Get some creamy aloe "lotion"....not the green or whatever color clear gel. Begin putting the lotion on and keep putting it on until it stops being absorbed by your skin. Repeat as frequently as possible, keeping your skin saturated with the aloe lotion. It wouldn't hurt if the lotion had some Vitamin E in it.

...and take the other folks suggestions....use *PLENTY* of sunscreen, get a high UV rating. Be sure and cover your shoulders, nose, and tops of feet. T-shirt is excellent advice.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of misery, er...cure.

Have fun but use your common sense.

Aloe heals and soothe sunburn. I have plenty of aloe in my backyard and always giving it to people with various burn issues. Sun to cooking issues.

Avoid putting any type of oil on a burn. Prevention is the best cure, but if you do burn the first thing you should do is take the heat out of your skin. This is what they do in burn units. Cold as you can stand showers will take the sting out and bump up healing. Aloe gelatin is what the hospital recommended for my wife and me, after we got burned bad on a boat ride that was only supposed to be a few minutes but turned into 2 hours.

maybe my momll get more aloe at the store. i do use wtaer resistant sunblock though. i swear though my skin like attracks the sun or something.t-shirt thing will cover some skin bot not all.i always wear sunblock when i intend to remain outdoors for extended periods of time thoough. also i need to call my mom and ask her to pick up some good 45 to 50 spf sunblock. were out
