Anybody ever bought call ducks from a hatchery?

I got 15 call ducks this morning in the mail from purely poultry. I'm so in love. They are just for pets not show but I was wondering if anybody else has pics of call ducks they had got from a hatchery. I'm pretty sure purely poultry just dropped shipped from Johnson's waterfowl.

Some I noticed are smaller then others. I'm so excited I call a pair of pastels

Your ducklings are adorable, I love all of the different colors, do you keep them in a large pen or free range them?

Right now just in the brooder. Gives me time to set up a duck pen lol. Have the wood and shelter just need to pick up chic wire but I may end up letting them free range later haven't decided.

I have 2 pekin ducks, we made them a pen with shelter, pool, and lots of room but they prefer to be in by the chickens. They do not free range but they have about an acre of fenced in land to forage in. I think they are happy.

We'll my only concern is that call ducks fly ... They are so small they weigh almost nothing lol. I had call ducks before but the coyotes got them at my old house. They were about a quarter the size of my regular sized ducks...

Sorry about your other ducks, hopefully with some reinforcements this batch of ducks will thrive. My pekins are huge and can't fly.

Price you pay for letting birds free range :/ , only seen one coyote here this year and hubby shot it after it wouldn't leave and tried going after a chicken just a few feet from me. I think coyotes are beautiful and love them right up till they try to eat my feathered pets.

yeah that reason is why we made a protected forage box for my birds that way they get to free range and i get to not come home to a chicken massacre like at my grandma's house

Woohoo duckies made it through the night. I was worried as I know the first day can be hard on them. Going to need to find a smaller wattage bulb for the light as they were huddled away from it so I turned it off for now and it's pretty warm in my bathroom as it is. They are so cute and it's nice that they don't seem to be afraid of me. I like watching them sleep in my hand.
