Anybody have Production Red chickens?

Wondering how many eggs they lay compared to isa browns?

Yes, I have production Reds. The ISA lays 29 out of 30 days. The production Reds will compete well. 27 out of 30 days. Both fine personality and feed conversion rates. Think of the ISA as a specialized kind of Red anyhow.

A friend of mine has production reds and says that in spring and summer they lay 2 a day. She got 2 dozen eggs per week from 2 hens!

My one production red lays everyday. Even through her molt.
