I was wondering if anyone has experience buying pullets at the South Florida Fair. I've bought chicks at the Red Barn previously but have had problems with getting too many Roos and not always the intended breed. I would like a couple more Barred Rock hens and I was wondering if it might be better to wait for the fair and buy older pullets as apposed to buying chicks now. Thanks for your help.
