Anyone care to weigh in on my birds?

The reds and the Dominicker were born in early May and the two Americaunas in late July. Even though I paid extra at my local feed store to guarantee being hens I have two who crow. The red crows much lower and is quite a bit weaker than most roosters I've heard. The Americauna is quite loud even though it is still young. I've heard some dominant hens can crow but I've never seen it.

That is pretty much what I figured. Thanks for the compliments. The bigger red is one of the sweetest chickens I've ever seen.

The feed store does guarantee their sex but that is only a money back. I guess I'll just eat the feed, time and energy involved. The worst part is telling my daughter we can't keep them.

Could be a barred rock. Going off the feed store guy again.

the dom looks to be a barred rock roo. the other red is a roo i cant really see the chicken in the background that well but it looks roo to

2nd pic is a roo

3rd pic is a roo and hen

You have a Barred Rock male, two red males and the last is a pair. Some country folks call anything with barring a "Dominecker", which always bugs the heck out of me, to tell the truth. Dominiques have rose combs and a different body type than Barred Plymouth Rocks.
