Anyone else Breeding/ Interested in Black Crested White Polish?

I am in SC. I am trying to find out how many other people are breeding BCWP Polish.

Oh Okay. I'm hoping to be able to start after we move and buy our own place. Right now I can only have hens because of city ordinence so hopefully ones of them is a girl lol. I have bcw and wcb polish. My bcw are like bulkier than my wcb. I have a couple for sure roosters in my wcb batch but they're even smaller than my two bcw. I ordered standards in both colors. Is that normal for anyone else or do I just have two chunky bcw lol

I don't know. I have never had polish. I tried my luck at Crested Cream Legbar, I love the little hens. They are so sweet, but I wanted the for blue eggs. They lay greenish-blue eggs. And I could not get a single chick to hatch all of last summer.

I did get a Crested Cream Legbar/Brown Leghorn cockerel to hatch.

He's very pretty. I took some photos of my two. I got 4 but two were more black than white so they got a new home. The two I still have,have a lot of black in the body but right now they're only pets. Hopefully next year I'll be able to get more and work on the color. My phone is bipolar so hopefully it feels like letting me upload some pics.lol
This is the favorite. If he/she gets on a lap, the other is soon to follow.

Is not being held down. She's kinda funny in that she jumps up on my daughter's lap and makes herself comfy then does cute little cooing noses while getting pet. Crossing my fingers for a pullet. Even the little stray feather is still rounded so I have high hopes.

Are you guys still active on this thread? I bought a farm store chick, not knowing I'd end up with this beauty, about 8-10 weeks ago.

I've had people tell me it's a pullet, just wondering if you all agree?

Where did you find your black crested whites?
I'd love to have a few more...maybe a trio to have chicks.

I just purchased a BCW hen (> 1 year) & WCB hen (~6 months old) & may be interested in breeding in the future or obtaining a roo to add in with what I have. The breed is new to me & the guy I got them from said the BCW was quite rare. I had buff orpingtons for about a year until I recently expanded my flock. Located in south central VA.
