Anyone else experience the bad windstorm in North Alabama!!!

The weatherman was not predicting this! A bad wind storm came threw about 2 am and power was out until 10 am. They say Scottsboro may not regain power for a few days on the radio. Trees were snapped all over and billboards were knocked down. Lots of power lines are down. At least we had backup heat for the chicks but the eggs in the incubator didn't make it ( got way to cold). I think its time to look into a generator!

Not real close to you, but we were without power for 10.5 hours. I thought the wind would never end.

Sorry you lost your eggs. I always worry about that because I haven't gone to the expense of a generator. Would you like some replacements? What were you hatching?

We haven't lost power here in Maine, but it is REALLY windy lately!
