Anyone engaged, and planning a wedding?

I am getting married October 9, 2011. I have a year and a half to go. I've so far only booked the reception hall, which is also where we are having the ceremony. So much to do, and the time is FLYING by! I looked at dresses once, and after about 20 dresses I put my jeans back on and said "Done!".

Love getting dolled up, not loving trying a million things on in million degree weather! Oh, I also got my shoes too.

my next wedding is going to be me, him, 2 witnesses and a registrar. and possibly our son if he's born before then (still waiting on the final divorce, so not sure when yet)

can't be bothered with all the fuss, my other wedding was fairly simple and was still too much fuss for my tastes.

I like big weddings, but they just aren't me.

Thats what I said!! I wanted it to be small, and intimate. However, between the two of us, we know too many people who would be extremely hurt if they were left out. So we're doing a semi-big wedding. Trying to do this on a budget though, not the easiest thing.

my wedding was... me, him, my mom and his mom, (witnesses) but also my step dad, his dad, his sister and brother and his wife.. and my oldest DD. and the regristar. and i liked it. im glad i didn't have a big wedding. id never change a thing
