Have not done that particular drive but there are plenty of scenic drives in Colorado where I grew up. I can remember so many times my mother hollering through gritted teeth at my Dad, "Benjamin ... Benjamin! BENJAMIN!" as he laughed at her because she was in the passenger seat and could not see what he saw, that he had plenty of room. He didn't want to drive off the side of the mountain any more than she did. I remember Washington Pass, I think it was, before they put the tunnel through, and of course Wolf Creek Pass. I drove that myself many a time.
