Actual movement on Monday or label created?

Id be armed with electrolytes when you pick them up. 3 days seems like a long time to me.

They started shipping at 610pm label created at 405 pm I already have hunny water and electrolytes ready I’m not real happy

Mine shipped on monday and I received this morning. 2 look good, 1 looks okay, 1 looks very poor. Hopefully she pulls thru.

ETA: Mine are supposed to be 4 weeks old. They look 3 weeks. and 1 looks like 2 weeks. Not super pleased with them.

Not good at all!! Been told 3 days is pretty much timeline to receive

I just received an order from McMurray 2 weeks ago today. Everyone is doing well. Shipped out Monday and received Wednesday morning. Delays in shipping are probably the USPS, especially at the big hub facilities. Fortunately my local PO called at like 8 in the morning, before they were even publicly open and allowed us to pick them up by knocking on a side door.

As for tracking, I don’t trust it too much other than general ideas. Just got a few chicks today this morning from Meyer. Tracking info still said they were at the nearby USPS hub a few hours away. Supposedly have been their over 24 hours but obviously not true!

Thank u that is reassuring! I doubt I get them tonight but I hope they are ok so will be same time frame as yours on my 9 chicks

I just received a few from them this morning that shipped out Monday. My last batch come from another hatchery and they didn't call me until almost 4pm. Tracking is worthless .....

We got our first order from McMurray nearly six weeks ago. Tracking was totally on target and my daughter called the post office the day before just to let them know they'd be coming. Working with McMurray's was a pleasure. I changed my order the week before it shipped because I noticed they updated their availability with chicks we really wanted. It was no problem and the woman I spoke with was helpful and friendly.

We ordered 16 day-old chicks and got a free one. One of the RIRs got sick three days after we received it. It stopped being able to walk, eat or drink and started having bloody stools, so my partner euthanized it. Four Polish (including the free chick... another Polish) were pecked relentlessly by the others, so we gave them away.

The remaining 12 seem very healthy. One of the Egyptian Fayoumis is much smaller than any of the other chicks, but it's active. Overall, we are very happy with our McMurray's order. In the future though, I'd rather buy from a local breeder/hatchery because I think shipping chicks must be pretty traumatizing for them.

Good luck with your chicks!
