Anyone feed chopped alfalfa from tsc?

I saw chopped alfalfa forage at tsc the other day and thought it may be a great to mix with the straw in my run over the winter. Thought the chickens could forage And get some extra proteins. Has anyone tried this product?

I use it in my winter housing. Birds really seem to like it.
