I used to live in Cody. *Sigh* I love Wyoming.

Anyway, I would imagine that any breed would do just fine there. If he's worried about winters, tell him to get some pea-combed breeds.

I just read that you are from northern Wisconsin. My family was originally from northern wisconsin and moved to wyo. I still have quite a few relatives in Winter and Ladysmith and surrounding areas!

Oh I hear ya, that wind could be insane! The hardier breeds of birds would be able to withstand the winds as long as they had a draft-free coop they could go into when they got too cold.

Edited to add: That's so funny, because my family is originally from Northern WI and moved to Wyoming!
