YEAH I am sooo eggcited. I finally put my first batch of eggs in. I am so nervous. I am a mom and I don't think I was this nervous before.. WOW the anticipation..

Out of 6 Copper Marans-I have one that is looking wonderful (candling) and we locked down yesterday. Here's to hatching soon

I'm going on lockdown today! I just have two bantie eggs in there, rescued from a broody who wasn't doing a great job. They were developing well until last night when someone (probably a cat) jiggled the wire out of the light and it was off for awhile. It was 75 in there when I got up this morning.

I candled them and I could see a few tiny flickers of movement, but that was it. I'm not sure if the poor things will make it.
