anyone grow african violets?

Wondering if any of you grow/ have them?

Right now, I have a couple that I bought at Walmart. But I had several that were my Mothers, when she passed, I brought the violets home and kept them for probably 8 or 9 years. They are so pretty and are easy to care for!

My Grandmother has a purple African Violet that is just beautiful! At one point it started to die, and she just put it outside, not knowing what to do. A friend came over, repotted the plant in a bigger pot with soil made for African Violets, and it is now thriving!
