Anyone hatching in the Southwest? How's your humidity?

I have been reading everyone's topics and the replies about humidity and where to keep it. Living in the SW, that is very difficult and so I was hoping for ideas for the humidity level and how to keep it there for people that live in very dry climates. My last hatch (or lack of) I think my humidity of 60-65% was too much for the lockdown time. Before that it was closer to 40% +.

Any thoughts or experiences from people out this way?

I live in the desert. I use 10-35% days 1-18 and 40-55% during lockdown. I shoot for at least 50% during lockdown but no more than 55%. I find that if I have higher I get drowned chicks. However, the key is to NOT open the bator is there are pips.

I made absolutely sure not to open the bator this last hatch. I only took out a plug to add water. I will try your suggestions for humidity level though. Thanks!
