I have two leghorn teen chicks. They are 10 weeks old. One has always been bigger then the other by a great amount. It's also the leader. The other lady will not go anywhere without the big lady and she is aggressive to anything that enters the yard that isn't the family. So if little birds land in the yard she will chase them out. Everyone tells me they are both female but I can't help but be suspicious.

This is the larger one. The one that I'm suspicious of above

This is the little lady.

Can you get more pictures in a few weeks? :)
Yes I can :) I'll be posting another article in a couple weeks about my Lavander orpingtons. Tomorrow I'll see if I can get body pictures of them. It makes me happy though that people on here seem to think they are pullets. I love them dearly and I don't want to get rid of a roo. Hubby won't allow it lol

Can someone actually explain to me why there is a extreme difference in growth of they are the same age? Like lunar is the big hen. She has a very large comb and her wattles. Eclipse the smaller one doesn't show any signs of her wattles and a very small and pale comb.

Do all humans mature at the same age? All chickens mature in their own time, regardless of breed. I agree you have two pullets.

Yea, you have a point. It's just been giving me alot of anxiety! I've been keeping my ideas and thoughts a secret from my spouse. We can't have roos where I live. So I would have to get ride of the roo. So I'm relieved that they are both hens.
