New here and to keeping chickens. We're looking for something that will look nice, preferably a walk-in coop, and something that will stand up to the New England winters. Came across this on Craigslist, but I'm skeptical, as a google search didn't produce any reviews or anything.

Anyone hear of them or have any experiences to share?

They look nice, but not sure of quality.

Thanks.

Just from what see on the site. I see anyone selling complete coops an not using hardware cloth on the runs as a red flag. I dont use it on my coops but if I were building coops to sell it would be the standard option.

I searched to see when the website was started an the earliest date I found was 08-Jul-2009

Never heard of them but the prices look pretty good. Are these coops shipped assembled and built? or are they kits? I didn't see anything about them being a kit so I assume they are shipped already built. That is a good sign if they are assembled as they need to be pretty sturdy to withstand transportation already assembled.

Just thought I would write a response to you spamdumster. I am writing from Clark Farm about the coops you are questioning. I have been a registered farm with the State of CT since 2003. I was selling my coops locally and decided to try to advertise on the internet and start a website for my products after the economy went sour. My coops do come complete and they are very solid. In fact I can offer references of people who have purchased coops from me if you would like to check me out. I take pride in my work and I wouldn't put my name on something that was not sturdy enough to hold up in a New England winter environment nevermind shipping. To answer about fencing the customer chooses from a selection of options. The pictures on my site were what some customers had chosen as an example. I also have a real farm with real animals that I have built several sheds and barns for over the years. I must say that I am disturbed that an honest guy just can't seem to make a living these days without someone being skeptical. My home address and phone number are on my website and you can feel free to stop by or call me with any questions you may have and I will be more than happy to answer them.

Sincerely,
Clark Farm

It's more disturbing that so many people want to take advantage of people with their shoddy products. Not saying you're one of those, but for every honest seller there's 5 behind them that's a fly-by-night.
