I have an Australian Spotted drake and a pair of very petite birds who are half Australian Spotted/half Cayuga-Swedish.

I'm not sure what to expect from them as far as their time-table for maturing. Do they grow up faster than bigger ducks?
They're about 13 weeks and drake feathers just popped up on two of them this week, which seems earlier than I'd read. The other one is loud enough that there's pretty much no question that she's a girl. When should I start looking for eggs?
And more importantly, how soon do I need to either get rid of a boy or find some more girls?

We do have a few bigger ducks, too. The Australian Spotted seems quite fond of a Pekin, who we're considering keeping if she's a girl. And 3 Welsh Harlequins who are all guys and definitely looking for new homes.

Is it unusual for a bantam to NOT fly? The two who only have half bantam blood have started flying a good chunk of the way from their sleeping pens in the garage to the outdoor pen, but the little guy does the same sort of wing-assisted hops that the bigger ducks do. I think he might think he's a Pekin.
