I thought I had a RIR roo in this bunch of chicks, because he literally didn't have tail feathers until five or six weeks old, which seemed consistent to pictures I've seen of young RIR roos. However, now, at almost 10 weeks, he's got his tail mostly in, but his comb is still no bigger than his sisters'. He's got a deep, rich, mahogany color, though, which his sisters do not have, but I'm not seeing any obvious rooster feathers.
But, I'm rambling. If you would be so kind as to post a picture of a RIR rooster near 10 weeks of age, I'd greatly appreciate it!
