Anyone have Sex-link/silkie Crosses?

Opps! I went out this morning to find my silkie rooster in with my black sex link laying hens, having quite a "fun" time. I will probably still eat the eggs, but since I'm looking for eggs to hatch anyway, I wondered what the babies might look like. I would be keeping whatever I hatch.

Does anyone have this cross or something like it? I'd love to see pictures to see if it would be best just to eat the eggs.

I have some! When I go out to worm today I'll take some pictures. The only way I knew they were part silkie is, they had some blue in their earlobes...Gloria

They haven't started laying yet but I don't see why they wouldn't be good layers. You could always breed them back to a Standard breed Cock.

Not a very good picture but she looks like she will be bigger then a silkie. She has a small topknot. I would think she would lay a medium size egg. Hope this helps.
