Anyone here near Palmer,TN???

Just wondering what the area is like for Chickens?? I'm looking at a place with 5 acres and want to know if Chickens are allowed??
I tried looking it up but haven't found any information on the city or town rules for livestock/chickens..

I'm not in Palmer but with 5 acres of land that is outside of any city limits and only in township I would suspect.Township can't dictate much as it is considered rural and or farm land with 5 acres so chickens can't be ruled against..only city limits can tell someone no chickens or no roosters..So tough luck on the City folks that moved to the Country and don't like chickens..oh wait those are my neighbors..They can complain all they want
