Anyone in California raise Beef ?

My family is looking for a well raised , grass fed steer. Anyone in CA raise ? We use to raise our own , but have since moved to the city. Bummer. Looking for someone to either raise it for us, or one ready for slaughter.

I could probably put you in contact with a couple of people in NorCal... one who used to keep his cattle on my family's land, and the other that now does. They both keep cows that are grass-fed/pastured their entire lives, no feed lots, supplements, hormones, anything else. Beyond organic. The cows have wonderful lives and are well-loved. However, I don't know their availability or if NorCal is close enough for you. If you want more info, go ahead and PM me and I'll see what I can get for you.

N. CA might be to far. But I am going to keep searching. I miss our old house now. We upgraded size of house for less land

If market would go back up then I could sell and buy more land for critters.
