Ive never had much luck fishing there, but you might. You might want to try the Spillway, on the other side of the dam. It empties into a river, and there is generally good fishing there, though you cant put a boat in there. Greenbo Lake, in nearby Greenup County, however, is a stocked lake that has pretty good trout fishing.
As for chickens, Right now I have 4 good American game stags, 3 months old; 3 American game pullets, 3 months old; 7 Wyandotte/sex link crosses, 6 week old, and an excess of young BLRW cockerels, 3 months old.
