Im looking to go to an auction/swap/trade show in NY-upstate NY Ive searched and searched online and come up short everytime-is there a website that anyone knows of that lists all the main ones or even small ones in ny? Id be will to travel a distance depending how big it is-thank you!

Theres the one in Bath in Sept, that should be a large one. And there is one weekly in Springwater (Or Springville, I forget!) but I've never been to that, so IDK how it is.

I wish there were more! You can check Auctionzip.com, it lists all of the upcoming auctions for your area.

thats exactly what I was looking for some sort of auction site that lists where and when!!! Bath is 5 1/2 hours from me! I wish it were closer- thank you so much

If you mean the weekly auction in Springville, that's in western new york, about 40 miles south of Buffalo. Which is really far from Onchiota.

But since I'm kinda local, here's the scoop on the Springville auction. It happens every Wednesday, all year. It's an all-purpose farm auction - people bring all kinds of stuff. There are vendors with antiques, fruit and vegetables, cheese, jewelry, the usual flea market fare. The livestock part is run separately, and they get poultry, pigs, goats, etc. If you're troubled by seeing animals sitting around in small boxes, don't go. Some people improvise their crates and don't do a very good job. The kinds of chickens that come through there are usually not "fancy" breeds - mostly standards like RIR or rocks - the kinds you'd find on a farm.

I went once or twice many years ago, but my dad's a regular. He's always bringing home random stuff - he just can't resist old electronics.

That is far:-( I was looking for a few fancy breeds-it would bother both my DH and I to see them cramped up-it bothers my DH to see 2 chickens in a cage designed for 4-5 full size chickens! He gets mad at me when I lock our babies up by two's in those hugr cages. But better safe from the predetors than sorry-thank you so much
