Hi there, I have a group of 7 call ducks, 1 of them over the last week and a half or so has been on and off eating, and spending a lot of time just standing there looking lost rather than with the others like normal. Is this a normal behaviour? Do they do this before laying eggs?
The only thing that has changed dramatically is the temperature has been very low compared to usual, talking -2 to -10 lowest at night, can this wear down a call duck after a while?
Finally, I believe she is 1 of the 2 original pair we got, so is going on 6 years now, is she maybe reaching her normal life expectancy?
On her ok days, she eats like the others fine, and seems ok, but on her off days, doesnt eat and just stands in a corner.
