Jeremy, JWhip on here, is a great guy with nice birds. XW Poultry Ranch is what it is called. Look him up. He is in Nebraska.

Wild Rose Farms (http://www.wildrosefarm-iowa.net/) and Sand Hill Preservation Center (http://www.sandhillpreservation.com/catalog/chickens.html), both located in Iowa, are supposed to sell exhibition quality chickens as well. Good luck in finding what you are looking for.

Sandhills is great compared to other hatcheries. I would not recommend them as a source for birds to exhibit.

Watching this thread as well. In only want 4 birds, and not chicks. Hatcheries only sell large lots of chicks, for warmth during shipping. Some sell 4-12 week hens..... but those are few and far between.

I raised some chicks up for someone this year with ours. We will have new chicks every year for 4-H. I love raising them up!
