My daughter picked this one out from TSC and we didn’t know the breed.. maybe someone can help! It is 3 1/2 weeks old and not as filled out with feathers as the others his age are and he has feathers down his legs. VERY prominent feathers. Not sure if that means anything. Lol It was dark with a few lights spots on him (her) when it was a baby, but no pattern. That’s all I can tell you and send a pic of him today. Hope someone can help!

Yay!! Thank you both! It seems more aggressive than the others even from the day they brought it home. Hope that’s not a sign of cockerel.? Lol We have a full grown rooster outside that’s “free range” that my husband brought home from a friends house about 3 years ago and he wouldn’t have another rooster around so we’d have to get rid of one & we are quite fond of Henry The barred rock rooster. We’ve saved his life 2 times already from the hawks so we can’t get rid of him! Agh! It’s so frustrating worrying about if we have another rooster or not! I love them all and don’t want to have to re-home any of them!

Any idea what kind of duck this is by chance? Lol It was supposed to be a Pekin but we got 2 and one def is a Pekin but this one is getting tan feathers and is more slender and smaller than the other one. The other one is huge! And almost all white now (just a little yellow on his head still). This one walks upright. I’m thinking Indian runner but could it still be a Pekin??

Cockerels that grow up within the flock tend to be tolerated by mature roosters, provided there is ample space for both. There may be some fighting to establish dominance as the younger one reaches maturity, but once they sort that out, things are usually pretty peaceful.
You can begin getting the adults used to the chicks by taking them out for short trips to a separate pen. This will allow the chicks to learn from the adults, and the adults will adjust to the chicks, while keeping everybody safe.

I'd post the duck in another post and specifically say 'duckling' in the subject to grab our duck people. Or post it on the duck thread.
