Anyone know this "weed"?

My girls seem to like it. It grows along with the chickweed, henbit and dandelions.

Need more info. Where are you located? Can we see a picture of the leaves on the stem to see how they are arranged? How big is the whole plant? Is it herbacious or bush-like? Do you know if it flowers or fruits?

I'm North of Fort Worth, Texas. Growth habit/size is similar too chickweed and henbit

Further reading on this plant says it’s edible..

I am curious as to taste and if there are any after effects.

please have a salad or cook some up, if you are still with us tomorrow let me know the taste and how you prepared it.
