Meet Tweety who's just about 6 mo old, a very fiesty chickie. Person we got her from couldn't remember what kind she was. She's so much more aggressive than our other ladies I sometimes think she's a he.Started out all white and now is buff along the neck and a few spots along the back feathers.

It could be just because the chicken is wet, and I have a lot of trouble telling with white chickens, but those saddle feathers look pretty pointy. Was it hatched by the people you got it from? Could it possible be a sex link rooster?

Yes it was hatched by the people I got it from and they have lots of other breeds there.

I put my silkie rooster outside with the hens and this one the other day just to see what would happen and Tweety went after him immediately. That's what made me wonder if she was a he. How can you tell it's a rooster?

The things that stand out to me are:

His pointy saddle feathers.
His large waddles for his age.
His color - like I said, I'm not real good at solid color chickens, but he seems to be getting a little bit of rooster colors.
His fat legs!

The emerging ivory feathers look roostery to me. I'm guessing he's a mix, perhaps with white rock in there.

Mixed breed rooster. He's got quite a set of legs on him, you'd sure have dark meat aplenty if you were so inclined!
