anyone know what breed this is?

There were two of these little guys in my brown egg layer assortment from McMurray hatchery...the other was DOA but this one is thriving...anyone have any ideas what it is?

What breed is that on your profile pic? Looks like a cross between a frizzle and a silkie...called a sizzle. My little rooster is a red frizzle....LOVE him.

I have a blue Andalusian in the brooder and they look nothing alike. The feathering on this chick almost reminds me of a lavender color.

The chick is starting to feather out more. The feathers are a light grey/blueish color.I'm still stumped....

My first guess was White Rock as it was just a brown egg layer assortment, and White Rock chicks can have a lot of grey smudge as young chicks...however, the feathers should be coming in white and the legs yellow....


....so we go to other things...Lavender Orpington???? Or hatchery mutt?

I agree it is definitely not a Blue Andalusian.
