I just recently got two new Ameraucanas. Don't know what they will look like when they are older. Wondering if any of you guys had any guesses. One is a little lighter then the other. Here's a picture of then two-

It's difficult to tell with the chipmuck's. They could turn out in so many ways.
Most just have to wait and see unless you hatched them from your own hens to get a better idea.

Do you guys have any good guesses or experiences? I guess I'm a little impatient when it comes to my chicks. Lol. The store said they were Ameraucanas...?

Feed store was wrong. It's a common error. Ameraucanas are a pure breed that have specific varieties that breed true. Hopefully someone else will have feather colour ideas.

Easter Eggers are like a box of chocolates lol. I got 13 eastereggers and not one looks identical. I got some that are black and white and others that are orange and brown compared to my favorite which is black white and tan. They can pretty much end up like anything and that’s the joy of them. That’s my flock of Easter Eggers the only one that isn’t is the pure black.
