The kindergarten classes hatch eggs as part of a learning experience for the kids every year (provided they can find homes for the chicks beforehand), and they contacted me because I took some of the chicks last year. I got some more chicks this year and have no room, so I said I would try to help spread the word.
They will be straight run (obviously) leghorn type, like we got last year, and will need to be picked up in Verona at the school on May 4th. There will be 36 eggs or so I believe, I may have 10 chicks spoken for already.
You would need to be local, and willing to pick them up at the school on May 4th. I'm writing names/contact info down, and will them get people in touch with the teacher handling this!
