I have a couple of early spring birds, and the others are mid spring. They are molting. Now, if I remember, from my last flock, my other girls did this. There are a lot of feathers out there, so I am hoping it means they will be ready soon. No eggs yet from the two oldest, which I was hoping would lay by now...first one was hatched in April...still waiting..I know it's a girl, no boy sounds.

Oh, and also...they are blushing more and more. Can a hen start laying while still blushing, and not staying the red at all times? The blushing used to be a pink, now it's quite red..I like that! Just wonder if she will stay red eventually.
