Anyone out there play the bowed psaltery?

I'm looking to buy a bowed psaltery, but don't know anyone with exp that I can compare notes with. I've looked at James Jones, Phantasy Psalteries, and Northwind psalteries, but of course they all sound wonderful on their sites.

Do you participate in a folk music forum that I might find helpful?

My husband does play the bowed psaltery and my SIL does too along with the hammer dulcimer. I will have him chime in here tonight!

Hubby went to the WV event and these people are wonderful to teach you about your bowed psaltery. Tish and her companions are wonderful people that teaches anyone about their musical instruments and she does have her own website.
