anyone raise rocks as dual purpose?

I want to switch my flock over to DP birds that i can easily breed. I'm leaning towards barred rocks. Anyone have any experience raising these for meat?

I have BO,BR, Delawere ,RIR and Amerauana they are all DP. I had a very mean BO he went in the stew pot at 19 weeks he dress out to be 4 lb. and it was very good.

I like Barred Rocks. Heck, everyone likes Barred Rocks. They are sort of the Labrador Retriever of the chicken world: you don't get any points for individuality, but there are good reasons why they have been so popular for so long.
