Save money just buy regular eggs they are the same as free range she said!! free range just means the get to go ouside she said!! less colesterol dose not mean 0 she said!!save your money and buy regular eggs they are the same!!! WOW never until this morn have i ever emailed a TV show hahahah maybe a lil education will go a long way and next week they cook some real eggs or something??oh yeh btw I was not watching the today show lol I was on the computer and the t.v. was on behind me!!then it got my attention !!!

If you buy "free range" eggs from the grocery store then the woman on the T.V. was probably right. There really isn't much difference between those "free range" eggs and eggs from battery hens.

All that "free range" in the U.S. means is that they have access to the outdoors. Not that they actually do go outside or that there is anything in their "pasture" for them to forage. Just that they have access to the outdoors.

It's almost a certainty she was not talking about any sort of grass-raised eggs or anyone who really does free-range their birds. Those eggs do not make up the tiniest iota of the commercial egg market. Simply not enough of them and too labor intensive to scale up to the point where they would.​

I just watched the story. Is that lady out of her mind. She said buy organic milk cause it doesnt have antibotics in it is she sure those store eggs dont? She said buy grass fed beef even though its more expensive because that is their natural diet and they would be healthier but buy eggs from battery hens that have an unnatural diet never get to see the sun barely have enough room in their cage to move and they taste the same!!!Bet she has never had a farm fresh or backyard chicken egg. I wish they would let me show the difference to them. DH didnt beleive the difference til we got our girls. The first egg that was laid I put beside a store bought asked him which looked better he said our egg then fried both the same way had him taste after that he will not even order eggs from a restraunt. Sorry this was so long makes me mad when people say things they know nothing about.

There talking about what at the store is worth spending extra on. I dont exactly agree with her but shes not wrong ether. One egg is about the same as the next at the store.

If they truely freeranged like i do they could sell their eggs cheeper cause they wouldn't spend near as much on feed.

I just feel it was done bad!!and opened zero eyes to a heahthy egg option in fact squandered it by macking it seem only industry based?? just rubbed me wrong I guess I know where my eggs come from so I supose it shouldn't but Iam really trying to get more into urban chickens
