Anyone sell hollow emu eggs?

I would love to have a blown out emu egg to display with my egg collection (ostrich, duck, chicken, quail).
Does anyone here sell them? I'd love a really dark one with nice color.

Hardware Store Guy should be able to sell you a little gizmo that is a drill -- which normally goes into the bit of an electric drill -- but which has a little plastic 'handle' on the end. You're talkin' about a drill perhaps a tad bigger than the diameter of a match stick, cottontail. Then you secure an emu egg. Wash it. Use the drill to make a beautiful neat hole at each end.* Then use a knitting needle to smoosh around very very carefully inside. Then put your mouth over one end, and start blowing.

We used to do it as kids, in the bush in Australia

*If you were really conscientious, you'd use a needle point to make, in the exact spot you wanna drill, a tiiiiny indent in the egg, which the drill proper then 'sits' in as you begin work. Metalworkers use this technique before drilling into sheet metal: you use a little punch to make a tiny ding, so the point of the drill doesn't go in figure-skating circles off across the metal.

Cottontail, I saw quite a few cleaned and hollowed Emu eggs for sale on Ebay. The average price seemed to be around $12 before shipping.

Briefvisit - Awesome directions but I am lacking the required Emu. And my husband said "oh, heck no" when I brought it up. Lol.
Juliefpc - I've checked Ebay but thiught I'd tdy giving my money to someone here first.

Hey, Cottontail. I was working on the premise that an un-blown egg would be far easier to get than a blown one. You could always come to Oz, and just walk around . . .

You just want one? I don't usually sell them but I happen to have a blown out one laying around from last year's hatch.
