i was looking into some other breeds of chickens i was just wondering what are the best eeg layers i mean i am in it for the eegs more then anything

If you don't care what they look like White Leghorn are the most productive large white egg layers around.I like the way they look (many people don't). For Brown eggs Rhode Island Reds,or sex-link are your best bet. all these are production type birds,most eggs in the grocery store come from white leghorn (white) and Rhode Island Reds(brown).

i got my last batch of golden commets over at the local tsc they didnt have as many as i thought i bought over half of what they. well i was thinking of getting son barred rocks i was wondering if they were good layers and mybe get a roo with the bunch even though my mom dont want one.
