I am in Maine & desperately seeking Indian Runner Ducks. I tried local routes & nothing panned out, I am debating between Meyer Hatchery, which I have read good things about, and California Hatchery, which I can't find anything about anywhere. Has anyone tried them? I am looking to order a small # of ducks - just garden helpers & pets, really. The larger hatcheries require such large minimums & I am not sure I want to get into the duck distribution business.
I have recently tried incubation without success & am not going there again. I was diligent & "did everything by the book", and I suffered too much in my failure. I can't envision ever incubating any way but naturally again.
