Anyone use one of these watering systems?

The link shows that there is a regulator included.

Turning down your faucet will not reduce pressure, only volume.

I have not tried this unit, it looks like a good one though.

...have you considered using watering nipples installed in a bucket...works great. Water is alway clean

This type drinker requires lower pressure than you get out of most water systems.

"Cracking open" a water faucet works to lower the pressure but only for a few moments.

Besides a pressure reducer you can use an elevated reservoir.

These waters work great for what they are intended - baby landfowl. They also will work for larger birds but you do have to secure them in some way because they will knock them over quite easily.

I have used this one successfully for small numbers of adult bantams and large fowl. These have a flat bottom and we just screwed through the bottom with a neoprene seal SS screw into a block of wood that fit into a welded wire mesh riser.

We sell them for $12.00 each

I have some and they work good. I don't remember were I got mine but it was like $75.00 for 5 founts the reducer and 25 feet of hose. All the parts are sold separately and are replaceable. they do get dirty because the birds can get on them.

Thank you all for your replies. I need to research "bucket natural pressure system with water cups".

You can see the cups at the same link I posted earlier. I like the cups for small pens because they don't take up much room. You can use gravity pressure from a bucket with most low pressure automatic waterers including the one you asked about in you original post. To me the mane advantages of a bucket are you can see how much water is consumed and you can easily medicate the water. the disadvantages would be you have to fill and clean the bucket regularly.
