I have been using this brand for a while now (probably a couple years) and wondering tonight if this the cause of chicken issues. It was cold and wet all winter before last, and I lost about 15 of my hens. As it is now, I am down to 14 chickens, and they just don't look good to me. And I have had another one sick now with pale yellow diarrhea. She was laying soft or no shell eggs. I have wormed her with an oral dose of ivermectin, given her epsom salts baths, injections of LA200, and am now giving her by syringe Nutri-drench, sugar and water. She was actually taking dirt bath today but I cant see she is eating. I threw out carrot peels and some scratch tonight and she never looked up. I think I am going to try to find some other feed.

Hi Sissytoo, where are you located? I've never heard of this brand.
With losing this many chickens, I think maybe it's time to have a necropsy done. It could be that the feed is moldy, how do you have it stored? It could be,too, that you have an illness going through your flock. I would highly advise getting help from an agriculture extension to help you on this.

The feed is not moldy. This is nothing new. I live in Middle Tennessee and either is the coop or Tractor Supply. I tried the AG ext, last year and they would not come out, and you had to drive along way to get the bird to someone to take it to Nashville for exam, and I had to work.

Ok, good the feed is good. I understand about getting to your ag extension, mine's a long ways away too.
Have you tried treatment with corid?
Also, ivermectin is a good wormer, but doesn't kill all types. Perhaps try valbazen, which will take care of just about everything.
