Anyone used this feed?

I was going through looking for what feed I would buy to feed my cornishx and freedom rangers when I get them in April. I found purina has a gamebird starter with 30% crude protien, but isnt labeled for poultry just gamebirds. Does anyone have experience with using this feed for their meat birds. thanks for any info

That is MUCH higher than you need, in my opinion. I've fed my meaties plenty of 20% and they do just fine. Now I'm feeding 22%. Not many people feed more than 24%. I don't know that it's BAD for them, just a waste of money.

I agree with jaku. You can pay more if you want but the 20% protein Purina Flock Raiser I use works just fine for just 13 dollars a bag from my local feed store. They can stay on this right up until you butcher.
