Not sure if you know- but there is a great support forum on Resolve's page on Inspire. They are the national infertility support organization and there is a board just for people with secondary infertility. (ie, have a child then cant get pregnant naturally again) its an amazing place to get good advice and great support. They saved my sanity a million times.
We struggled for years and finally said we'd had enough of treatment and pursued adoption. I am not saying you should! I just wanted to share that I know how unbelievably hard and lonely infertility can be. People tell you all kinds of stupid things and you just have to grin and take it even though they dont know what they are talking about.
Clomid made me crazy, really affected my moods and gave me a lot of side effects like night sweats and other less fun things. It didn't work for me but it does work for a lot of people. Its the first step in the treatment road for infertility. One thing I would say is if you are still with your regular gyn- get to an RE right away so you don't waste your time. You could do six months on clomid, then femara then this and that only to find you should have done IUI a year ago and you have wasted money and time!
Good luck and I am so sorry you are in this struggle. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. You are not alone. The current estimates are that around 1-10 couples struggle with some kind of infertility. Most of it is treatable and leads to a perfect pregnancy, so you should have a lot of hope!
